perpetually BELATED…

I just need to buy a "Belated" stamp to use on every single card that I’ll ever send. I NEVER get cards out on time, and today I’m feeling like a big fat LOSER because I wasn’t home to even do a birthday call. So I’ll start this Friday with a little blog apology…to my sister, Karen: I’m sorry that I didn’t call yesterday. I’m sorry that your card is late. (It’s really Mom’s fault for having you so close to Christmas. LOL)

Busy, but short, work day today. I’m taking off early to go to Hope’s first middle school basketball game. GO LADY COUGARS! After Hope’s game, the B team plays…so it’s Rob’s first middle school game as the coach. GO COACH ROB! She’s nervous. He’s nervous. I have the camera loaded.

On tap for this weekend – taking the wicked cool Christmas picture so that I can send out the wicked cool Christmas cards before they are wicked belated (see, there it is again). I may go to NY on a Target run with Tawnya (T, are we going?). LOTS of Christmas decorating still to do. Lots of other stuff, but right now….I need to get to work.

Oh, one more thing! A special request – my Mom has created a blog about the small town that she lives in. I lived there for a while, too, when I was younger…and then for a year during my divorce. So many of you have heard me talk about it. Cool little town where people wave as they drive by, and you’re known by your kin…"you must be Bob’s granddaughter!"
