is it Wednesday?

I am a creature of habit, so when my routine changes, I’m thrown. Travelling on a Monday & Tuesday has thrown me this week. I’ve asked myself "what day is it?" three times already this morning. Thank god I have a calendar inches away from me that I can turn & look at.

Random thoughts from being "on the road"…

*is mapquest just a cruel joke? I’ve seriously NEVER gotten a decent set of directions from them

*why do people argue with flight attendants? is it really worth it? you’re trapped with that person for the duration of the flight…sit down, shut up, and behave

*why can’t I sleep when I travel? I wake up at least every 2 hours, worried that the alarm clock isn’t working

*how do hotels make oatmeal in just the right texture? yum….

Those are really important questions, aren’t they? That’s about all that I can muster this morning.

I did pick up a little notebook at Target (in Ohio) for my mini-holiday planner. I don’t faithfully use my normal, everyday planner…so doing a full sized holiday one is really a waste of energy. So I just picked up this cute little notebook that I can alter to be even cuter…and I’ve been jotting down "must do" notes. Now I just have to actually do them.

I read through the big picture again on the plane. I’m seriously LOVING this book. By the way, just click on that link (book’s name) to buy online. This is far & away my favorite scrapbooking book.

I had planned to be off today….just a get-things-done personal day. I need to reschedule since I’ve already been out of the office 2 days this week. That’s a bummer. I was really looking forward to having today to conquer the world…or at least get some shopping & scrapping done.

Guess what I got yesterday? Our first Christmas card! Woo hoo! I absolutely love getting Christmas cards…so getting the first one makes it really feel like the holidays. Keep ’em coming!

Well, need to get moving here. Enjoy your…uh…what is it?…uh…Wednesday. That’s right, Wednesday. Have fun.

Hey Katrina…..it’s Wednesday. Thought you might wanna know. LOL
I’ve only rec’d one christmas card so far . But it’s ok..most of my family/friends procrastinate, and I’ll receive them on the 23rd. LOL
I’m glad you’re back…I was missing your blog!

Love Christmas cards ! I also have a problem know what to do with them after Christmas. I always feel so guilty in throwing them away. So I store them away..for what I really don’t know. We didn’t send out cards last year b/c ..well I was tired and pregnant and just couldn’t organize it! Welcome home..hope your Target trip was a success ( cause we know that’s really the reason you agreed to go!)PS – I always use yahoo maps and I have had pretty good luck…

Mapquest and I have never gotten along. It always gives you the longest way to anywhere. Believe it or not, I’m working on my Christmas cards. I need to get some film developed so I can send you the latest photos of Patrick. I would say Happy Wednesday, but your work day is long over. Maybe mine will end…although I’m beginning to have my doubts.

I usually do pretty well with mapquest. I woke up arguing with myself over whether it was Wednesday or Thursday. I was bummed once I finally figured out it was Wednesday. I rolled out of bed despite me disappointment…LOL…I think it’s the thought that in 1 week and 2 school days, I will have two weeks (AND the day after New Years) off. It makes these next few days torture.

Your list of observations made me chuckle. You make some very valid points! Smart girl.
Your enthusiasm and excitement over The Big Picture is contagious. I’m so anxious to get my hands on this book. After reading your brief review, I went to the site and did some research. This book sounds right up my alley because I’ve always been a non chron scrapbooker and I love to share the idea of that with others when I teach.
Welcome home! It’s now Thursday and I’m hoping your Wednesday was a good one. Now I will wish you a happy Thursday. ENJOY!
