2020 : january stories

After a delicious surf & turf dinner at home (we love us some lobster), Dan & I walked a few houses down to celebrate the new year with friends. We are so grateful for our neighborhood.

These monkeys are always with us at the start of the year, and it’s the best. They both completed 2019, and declared what they’re creating for 2020. Mackie loved trying new foods and traveling to Maine in 2019, and is looking forward to “making something wonderful” in 2020. Wilder loved swimming, learning to read, and meeting Kellan in 2019, and is looking forward to “ziplining and being kind” in 2020.

We celebrated my birthday a night early with neighborhood friends, pizza, and gluten-free cupcakes (thanks Donna!).

Hello 49. I kicked off the last year of my 40s with brunch & a visioning workshop at my favorite yoga studio. So grateful for these girls. Met up with Dan for dinner, and then packed our bags for the big story of January….

Oh heyyyyy Mexico! Dan & I headed to Xcaret for his annual company incentive trip. What an amazing resort!!

I have so much more of this story to tell. So many adventures!!

The ocean, the sun, the warmth…there’s no better start to the year.

I’m finishing up Project Life 2019, and pondering how I want to tell stories in 2020. We have a lot going on right now (understatement much??), and despite it all….we continue to create a life that we love.
