happy {little} things…

I read this quote yesterday…"Happiness is a place between too little and too much"…here’s a few little things that reside in that place for me:

  • Candy Corn – Rob brought home my first bag of the season. Brach’s – made with real honey. A BIG bag. 25oz of pure bliss. I eat mine color by color….how do you eat your candy corn?
  • Getting a picture of Claire from Matthew. She’s BEAUTIFUL. Thanks Matt.
  • Apple Crisp – Tawnya made us a pan of the YUMMIEST apple crisp. Wicked good.
  • Good tunes – Anna Nalick and The Click Five. (yes, the second one is a boy band…I stole Hope’s CD…it’s pretty good!)
  • Being a soccer/football mom – yep, I’m one of the LOUD ones on the sidelines! (by the way, Cougars (soccer-Hope) won yesterday 2-1, Catamounts (football-Austin) won 3-2)
  • This stuff – CO Bigelow Lemon Body Cream – although I’m too cheap to buy it! This will be on my Christmas List
  • Fall in New England – even though we’re having a hot week, we’re starting to see fall color – I’ll try to take some pictures on my way to work today
  • And, of course!, new scrapbooking stuff – a few things that I picked up at Target and Pocketful of Treasures in Clovis:

wait a second, how come you got a picture of Claire and I didn’t? Matt, if you read this, I want a picture! and if I don’t get one soon I’ll have to whine . Not that any of you will hear me over the computer but still . . .
Katrina, we have got to get together somehow. I miss you! And the blog, while it helps, sometimes just drives it even further home how long it has been. This morning I feel a need to share hugs and kisses so I’ve sent some virtual ones your way, please give to the kids as well.

I would absolutely love to visit New England in the Fall! I bet it’s just gorgeous!!! It’s weird, here in TN, our leaves start changing, even when it’s still about 85 degrees :/ i’m so envious of your cool new scrappin stuff. What is that blue/red paisley print paper??

Ok for the candy corn question…must be eaten by color…yellow then orange and white for last. Why? I don’t know that is just how it has to be!
I’m laughing because I knew you’d have fun at target and pocketful of treasures…just don’t tell rob that I directed you that way!
