Blogkeeping (copycat)
I’m totally ripping off my blogfriend Kelly today…a bullet point list of blog stuff, life stuff, just stuff:
- the terms of the teacher’s new salary contract will not be announced until after the board votes on Nov 1 – what is known so far is that the teacher’s share of health care costs remains at 20% (they had asked for 10%)
- I have not forgotten about Kelly & Tracy’s request to see the baby box that I wrote about ages ago – just haven’t made the time to get it out & take a picture
- I get an extreme amount of comfort from the fact that I haven’t watched TV in ages…yet all my favorite shows are DVR’d
- Hope’s team WON their game yesterday – WOO HOO!
- I don’t understand why people equate introversion with weakness – those people piss me off
- I stopped making albums for the show last night & made a few cards – I needed to do something easy for a bit. I also threw out a bunch of old scraps b/c they were just in my way…and in the process, found some cool scraps for cards
- follow up on blog therapy – for those ready to lynch the culprit, rest assured that all is well – said culprit apologized, and I still *heart* them
- y’know those cell phone commercials that talk about "nasty overages" – uh, yeah…been there, done that, totally irritated with myself
- I can’t find my copy of The Bitch in the House – I can’t remember who borrowed it last (if you haven’t read this book, you should)
- the tshirts that I bought for Gina & I to wear at the show should arrive today…so even if we’re not wicked successful, we’ll still be wicked cute
- Roman hasn’t commented on my blog is just about forever, and I warned him that I would call him out…he’s SO laughing right now
- I’d really love to make some of Shannon’s Mom’s Honey Chicken for dinner…if only I had the recipe (hint, hint)
- I’m on day two of my three day work week, which makes me very, very happy
- I really love bullet point lists

Very nice blogkeeping! And here is the beauty of it: you can do it weekly or monthly. I love to blogkeep. About those tee-shirts – YES! I’m all over the wicked cute thing because for me, life has always been about cute. I can’t wait to hear how this show goes. I’m sending you SUCCESS vibes.

Okay, Okay, I totally suck. This is a true story…only the names have been changed to protect the innocent (notice my name is not changed). I actually got the recipe…then washed it in my pants. D’oh. So, I’m going over to mom’s tonight to get Patrick. I will handwrite the recipe out (again, time number 3 for those keeping track) and I WILL email it to you tomorrow. But please, oh please, do not hold your breath waiting for it becuase you’re likely to turn purple and pass out first :).
