2020: march stories
How strange is it to think about the “normal” stories before the world shut down??? In the beginning of March, we were dealing with a minor plumbing issue that led to needing laundry service (which is my favorite thing ever) & we were enjoying our Sunday brunch habit.
Dan was playing gigs. Hope got accepted to a teaching program. Lots of life to celebrate.
I was still traveling for work (who knew that would be my last trip in whoknowshowlong), and getting together with our entire company for our yearly celebration.
And then….COVID-19 became our reality. I was “sent home” early-ish, to facilitate early social-distancing in the office. I set up at the dining room table b/c how long could this really last? Dan built a makeshift standing desk b/c the adjustment to sitting was proving to be just too much. Also (& random)….how cute is that mug that he bought me?
We transitioned to online yoga classes, and bundled up for walks b/c they were sanity-saving after being housebound so much.
And still….despite the world coming undone…the light returned, and flowers started to bloom (to be fair, the above tulips were greenhouse grown, ordered online, and picked up curbside).
What a wild world….

I love that mug. You are a storyteller in the best possible way. And the light that flows through your photos is wonderful.
