2018 Project Life® – complete!

Thanks to the Stay-at-Home order in Vermont, I’ve spent the past couple of weekends finishing up my 2018 Project Life® album!

I really love looking back at the memories that we’ve created. Travel, friends, family, food…it’s all captured.

Details for my scrapbooking friends: I used Becky Higgin’s Design A as the base pages. I sometimes cut them down into a Design H format and/or added in 6×8 page protectors. I followed a weekly format (probably the last year for that!). I’m still (forever) working through my stash of materials, and completing this project was definitely motivation to move a BUNCH of stuff over to the kids’ art area and start fresh.

I don’t include much journaling when I’m in “catch-up” mode. To be honest, it’s rare that these albums are viewed without me…so I actually like having the chance to tell the stories of the photos in person. This one time, Dan upgraded us to a Jaguar when we went to Florida, and then I upgraded us to First Class on our flight home….

Our life is full of really cool experiences.

We travel a lot, we play a lot, we love a lot.

I didn’t add a ton of inserts to this album – but when I did, it was often to capture these smiles.

For me, Project Life® has always been as much about the everyday experiences as the milestone moments….coffee, yoga, date nights, etc.

Speaking of milestones….2018 was the year that we bought our house, and didn’t have to move a thing b/c we already lived here. WIN!

Hope & Austin have A LOT of scrapbook pages/albums dedicated to them….and I love that I still get to sneak their stories into these albums. Love my big kids.

And, of course…love our little kids. Quick walk-through of the entire album below (full transparency…I don’t yet possess the patience for filming great video. I’m working on it, folks.)

Project Life® is a Becky Higgins project. I use a lot of product and inspiration from Ali Edwards. Memory keeping is the best!
