the last post of the year
It’s about after 10:45pm on New Year’s Eve….and I’m sitting in my scrapbook room while the guys are watching some sports thing. Hope is at a sleepover. {happy sigh} No party this year (which is TOTALLY okay). We ate shrimp, mahi mahi, and bread dipped in olive oil/garlic for dinner. We watched Must Love Dogs while we ate in the family room (proof positive that it’s a holiday, b/c we NEVER eat in the family room). It’s a quiet, happy night. A good way to end the year.

Happy New Year!!! I also spent the evening at home…aaaaaahhh!!! 10-15 years ago I’d be bummed if that was my New Years Eve evening. Now it’s the best!!! : )
