A little throw back to Spring Break in April! Not gonna lie…the thought of working through 654 photos from a single trip is overwhelming! A few highlights…

We stayed at the Grand Pacific Palisades Resort for the week – it’s not super fancy, but the rooms are spacious & clean, and the property has a lot of great family amenities!

We loved visiting beaches & seeing seals!

Annie’s Canyon was such a fun hike!

Our resort was just a quick drive away from an awesome food hall – we went multiple times! Wilder loved the hawaiian pizza, Mackie was loyal to California burritos (they have fries inside!), Dan was also partial to pizza, and I enjoyed multiple sushi burritos…we like to eat.

Beach days are the best days!

A day in LaJolla? Yes, please!

We drove down to San Diego for a Zoo Day…starting off with brunch, of course!

We celebrated Wilder’s 9th birthday on this trip, so he got to choose an adventure. He loved the opportunity to drive a speedboat! While the boys adventured in their boat, Mackie & I exhausted ourselves with a water tricycle!

One of the BEST features of our resort…it overlooked the Carlsbad Flower Fields! Mackie & I spent a morning walking through the blooms, taking photos, and (shhhh!) eating Dole Whip. So, so great!

Wait…did I mention tacos??? Did we eat them at every opportunity? Yes, yes we did!

Also, the succulents…swoon.
