friday reflections

(10.18) friday reflections

tasting :: radishes with sea salt. pretzel bread. peppermint tea. green smoothies.

hearing :: iTunes radio. the hum of the production floor below my window. leave blowing across the yard. nighttime rain.

smelling :: candles. orange fragrances. basil countertop spray. (sort of related…what perfume/fragrance are you wearing these days?)

seeing :: a closet that is very grey & black. a desk strewn with papers & components. stunning autumn colors. statements that show slow progress.

feeling :: unsettled (always). grateful to friends who show up with honesty and kindness. a chill at night that makes me reach for a sweater/sweatshirt.

wishing/hoping :: for a painting fairy to visit my living room. that the rest of this year goes by quickly, and with ease. I struggle with this question a lot. I seem to have forgotten how to wish. Seems that some vision-boarding is in order.

Inspired by my dear friend Gabby today, who was inspired by Rosie Molinary

Rosie explains that Friday Reflections is "all about reflecting on the week by observing our senses.  My hope is that this will be a gentle, easy way to tune into how we are doing and what we are experiencing weekly when journaling in general can feel so daunting."
