The house went on the market on Saturday, and into MLS on Monday. We've had three showings. I'm equal parts excited and overwhelmed. We're still working on little projects, and trying to keep everything ready to show at a moment's notice (or, in the case of Monday….ready to show when the buyer's agent shows up 40 minutes early).

We've been talking a lot about downsizing. The kids have been great about decluttering & purging. Hope took an SUV-full of random stuff to Goodwill, and Austin is tackling the random sports stuff in the garage. I'm looking at many things through the filter of "do I want to pay someone to move that?" In the unlikely event that the house doesn't sell, it feels good to know that our efforts won't be wasted. We'll still be rewarded with a cleaner, brighter space. Letting go, and moving forward.
