it’s like riding a bike.
I mean….literally.
I had breakfast with my dear friend *Gina last weekend, and she commented that I live in the "perfect location." On her list of reasons – proximity to Burlington via the bikepath, the causeway, and the distance from my house to the beach. Little did she know that I've been having similar thoughts – particularly about the bikepath! I've lived in this house for 9ish years, and I've walked to Burlington on the bikepath (during a half-marathon), but I've never actually biked there. After selling a few boxes in my pay-what-you-want sale, I bought an adorable cruiser bike. After I get it assembled (proving to be a bit of a challenge), I plan to put it to good use – trips to the farmer's market, library, waterfront, causeway, etc.
*Gina is such a dear friend that she forwarded photos of Angela Landsbury to our co-workers, and proclaimed "Kat's going to be solving murders soon!" Dork.

Ooohhh jealous! I moved to a very bike-friendly neighborhood last fall and can’t wait to get a bike. What make/model did you choose?

It’s a Huffy Cruiser – online at Wal*Mart. My only advice – be sure to have the store put it together. I still can’t get the front fender to stay on correctly. Grrrr.
