2013 PL : weeks 13-16
I made a dent in PL catch-up this weekend – and it feels good! I was on a roll…and then ran out of printer ink. UGH. Restocked now, so hope to blaze through June this weekend. You'll notice a few things (but I'll point them out b/c I'm helpful like that…):
1. I've taken the "1 page per week" route. Why? Well, b/c it's easier & faster – and b/c I didn't really have enough photos to fill up 2 pages.
2. There is VERY LITTLE journaling. Or, y'know, none at all. I don't like faking journaling, and I feel like that's what I'd be doing if I went back and wrote up a bunch of "thoughtful" journaling cards.
3. Did I mention the lack of photos? Yeah, that.
4. I used email, blog, and social media to remind myself WHAT THE HECK HAPPENED in these weeks.
week thirteen – the last week of march.
week fourteen – Becky came to visit!
week fifteen – friends, friends, friends
week sixteen – the compilation of Boston headlines is a google image grab.
week seventeen – notice how half of this page is about one event? I'm okay with that. It was the highlight of the week!
How are you doing with Project Life?

Good for you! As I continue trucking along I wish I had half your knowledge on printing small photos, adding printed journaling to the big cards, and your eye with the camera. On the flip side I have no desire to spend the time learning how to do any of that stuff when I can be playing with my child in the few precious hours between work and sleep so I will do what I can and enjoy it! I’m hoping to finish up several more pages this week 🙂

Well I won’t respond to how PL is going, just wanted to say that I am in a similar boat except older kids, so a two page spread per month is all “I do”. Also, love the Faith quote. Just the kick in the head I need right now.

I’m so happy you posted these….I love the simplicity of your pages. I’m also back at the end of March, but I love doing PL so I’m not worrying about it. It will get done eventually. I’m a font addict, so I need to know what fonts you used on the “brunch” and “margarita” cards. Looking forward to the next batch of pages!
