grey's love

going to denver.

Hands down, one of my favorite lines from Grey's last night…when Marc & Callie are at Joe's, and Marc looks at Little Grey and tells Callie…"I'm going to Denver." Damn the "rules". Damn the promise that he made to Derek. He's going to Denver. And I say…right on.

The whole Christina/Mer fight is familiar. I couldn't even really remember what they're fighting about until Barb & I emailed after the show…she couldn't remember, either…so I had to figure it out. They're fighting over the intern surgery thing. But it doesn't really matter what the fight is about. What matters is that neither of them have their person anymore. And that sucks. Because when you're dealing with a creepy serial killer…or just a crappy friday…without your person? Well, it doesn't feel so great.

And then there's Alex & Izzie & dead guy. I feel like the writers are weaning us off of Denny…even though we all just really want him gone anyway. My favorite part of that whole thing in this episode? When Izzie tells Denny that Alex told her that he loves her. She says "that's huge for him." Not "and I love him too." Interesting.

That's some good Grey's.

Last night was better than it has been. I love Eric Stoltz. He’s so good.
I love the Marc/Callie thing. Love it. They make me laugh. I’m not so on the Little Grey thing. And I’m definitely not liking the Callie/Sadie thing, but I still like her.
Christina/Mer – that does suck. It’s hard not to have your person.
Alex/Izzie/Denny – yeah. I’m done with all of them. I think the whole plot line is dumb and have since the beginning.

I missed it! wahhhh. I need to find out when they’re going to re air it. I think I can watch it online right?
I am so over Denny. UGh…..how are they going to explain this when he’s gone? Her imagination? She officially lost her marbles??

very good katrina. i didn’t really catch that she didn’t say “i love him too”. you are good. i did love it when marc said “i’m going to denver” – made me laugh. that young thing could turn him around.

“I’m going to Denver” was indeed a classic line. TMI warning: A couple years ago I was dating this guy who simply did NOT understand that there was no talking (much less fooling around) on Thursdays at 9:00p.m. when Grey’s came on. One evening he insisted on both talking and fooling around (and, hey, at the time I was persuaded that all three seemed like an OK idea to me). The next day I shared the story with some girlfriends (and now all of you and the blogosphere). And so, “watching Grey’s Anatomy” became code for getting lucky! (That guy is no longer my boyfriend, though. I mean, how can I love a guy who simply doesn’t respect my priorities and who is able to sway me from my beliefs!)
peace & love … and hey, let’s all go to Denver!
