DITL,  memory keeping,  project life

day in the life | march 2022

We were scheduled for parenting time in Indiana for the first of Ali Edward’s 2022 Day in the Life documenting days. If you’re new to this project, I definitely encourage you to check out Ali’s blog. I love the lens that Ali uses for memory keeping – making sense of my life through stories. DITL offers the opportunity to be curious and notice the rhythm of one ordinary day.

I decided to participate at the last minute. I explained the project to the Littles, and played the intro video for them. I was thrilled that they were excited to participate! Since they (and Dan) were totally on board, we did quite a bit of video throughout the day. A video DITL is new for me, but I’m super happy with the way it turned out!

When we got back to VT, I put together a few simple digital pages to print & include in my Project LifeĀ® album. Memory keeping doesn’t need to be complicated.

The pictures & stories that we captured make me so happy. It’s a small glimpse of a bigger picture – a life created with commitment and connection. A life created with love.
