changing it up
Once in a while, my hairdresser likes to change things up a bit…and take a flatiron to my hair. It helps her to make sure that everything’s even. I have to admit, it annoys the heck out of my husband & kids, so it’s fun to do now & then! So, without further ado…
Weird, eh? Not to worry, the curls spring back as soon as they’re near water. Just mixin’ it up a little!
Had an awesome, busy, fun weekend. I crossed off accomplishments on my Friday post…not too shabby!
It was great fun hanging out with Karen this weekend – sooo glad you decided to stay over girl! And we had a blast at Jen’s house…even if Jen does live out in the middle of creepy Blair Witch woods.
Only got one layout done at Scrapbook Central on Friday night, but it’s a cute one. Spent most of the night laughing & carrying on with Jean…who I’ll now have to refer to as the scrapbook nazi (not very PC, but I don’t care). She’s really gonna crack the whip on this design team gig. Hmmm, Jean…why exactly do you own a whip? Something to do with Vegas perhaps?? LOL! Here’s the layout:

Short week this week, due to needing to use up some CTO before end of year (darn!). So I’m working Mon-Thurs. May journey down to Target with Karen & the girls on Friday. Woo hoo! Pretty sad that we have to drive 2 hours to go to Target, huh?
Alright, off to pour another cup of coffee. Oh, and APPLAUSE for me for getting up & working out this morning. Now let’s just see if I stick to it!

Ok, where is the Target in VT? My dh got TJ Maxx in Middlebury mixed up with Target! I was so excited we drove straight over there. We were not disappointed though because we found some great things there. But I’d love to be able to shop at Target when we’re up there. Thanks!

cute layout! IT’s so fun to spend “girl time” with friends. We as women need to do that so much more often. WE need friends, regardless of our age. Oh, and about the hair…..love the curls, please stay curly!

YAY on the workout. And, YAY on the giggles at the Scrapbook Central. I love a good laugh with friends.
Now, about that hair, I had to do a double take. I am so used to seeing pics of you with curls that I never envisioned you without them, so this took me very much by surprise. The curls are more SASSY – which is what I love about you. But, I do see why it is fun to switch things up now and then. I’m glad you posted the picture, you are cute no matter what your hair looks like!

Hmm…definitely like the curls better. Shocking picture- not sure I’ve ever seen you with straight hair before…it looks good, just different. And congrats on your new scrapbook gig. Sounds fun!!!
