The day before

Christmas Eve….and I’m feeling surprisingly calm. Still a lot to do, but that’s okay. I’m just at that point of "well, if it doesn’t get done…it just doesn’t get done." I spent a little time this morning getting all of the misc crap that found its way into the living room back to its respective homes. We have our Christmas tree in the living room, so now I feel like it’s pretty in that room instead of messy. Next year, I’m going to do a "pretty" tree in the living room, and our usual "family" tree in the (appropriately) family room.

I’m officially off work until the new year, which feels soooo good! As usual, I have a long to-do list, but most of it is stuff that I want to do. I like those vacations – no pressure to go somewhere or plan a bunch of activities. Just hanging out, getting stuff done around the house, seeing friends, and (duh) scrapbooking. Speaking of, I’m loading my film SLR right now…I’m actually kind of bored with my little digital & want to take some "real" pictures.
