2018 project life : 8 weeks of catch-up!

I’ve been slowly working my way through Project Life® this year – keeping it super simple (as always), and focusing on getting photos into pockets. I sometimes think that I should be telling more stories and/or adding more words. And then I think that I’m happy to just have memories captured. Good enough.

I didn’t have many photos for weeks five & six, so I chose to do mini-spreads.

Week seven started in Vermont, had South Bend in the middle, and ended in Madison with Miss Barb!!

I threw in a small insert to capture the SB days before Madison. These trips are still new, and have so many layers of emotion attached to them. I going to set an intention of seeing with a new lens when we are there next…capturing more of the details of the journey.

Week eight started in Madison and ended in Vermont. So happy to have a tribe of people of support us. It makes all the difference.

Week nine started in Vermont and ended in NYC. Life is busy.

I decided to switch things up a bit with the right side of week ten – the smaller page protector just felt more manageable.

A full week at home in Vermont – woo hoo!! Capturing the bookends of the week – started with a fantastic flamingo brunch, and ended with St Patrick’s shenanigans. Life is good.

I still love this project, even when I don’t “keep up” with it, and when I’m faced with very few photos. It’s encouraging me to look at life from my camera. Guess what? It’s a pretty extraordinary view.
