what does the vegetarian eat?
Pretty sure that this question is right up there with "what does the Fox say?"….what do vegetarians eat on Thanksgiving? The menu for my house is above. Believe it or not, it IS possible to give thanks without turkey. Austin's Dad will join us, and weather permitting, my brother will arrive at some point during the day. What's on your menu?

I’d eat all that. I’d even eat dessert twice.

I love that menu – I’ve never really understood the fake turkey thing. I am cooking a bird for 12, only I somehow miscalculated and got a 13 pound turkey….and my 4th run to the store in 2 days found only breasts left. But people usually like white meat….I hope.

Totally possible to give thanks w/o turkey! And even though meat does make an appearance on my table, I often eat around it on Thanksgiving, saving my portion for the leftover sandwiches. I love the sides so much more than the bird!

It’s possible that I ate dessert for breakfast this morning. My favorite part? Robert saying “I can’t believe you JUST MADE whipped cream. ” The boy has a lot to learn…

I don’t understand the fake turkey thing either! I’m sure everyone enjoyed the turkey at your house – no matter what “form” it was in. 🙂

Me too – although my convection oven and I still don’t get along, so the roasted veggies were a little OVER-roasted. Bummer.
