Project Life® – January 2022

Jumping back into Project Life® this year with a monthly approach.

I chose to start my album with a 9×12 photo of a section of our living room bookshelf. It’s definitely due for some sorting & cleaning, which frankly feels like most of life right now.

As often happens, I ended up with an unintentional color theme. The yellow roses plus bits of yellow in other photos definitely set the tone.

I realized that Dan & I somehow neglected to take a photo together, so I decided to use one from our Nov trip to Arizona. I’m totally okay with that. I seem to get out of the habit of taking photos during the depth of winter.

I’ll likely add an index tab to this 4×6 insert. This is a great example of the small stories that I like to include in my memory keeping. Sushi dates are my favorite.

Several years ago, we started a completing & creating tradition with the Littles for New Years. We spend some time reflecting on the previous year, and talking about what we want to experience in the new year. It’s really fun to watch how their answers (and their spelling) evolve over the years!

Starting out the year/album with simple stories feels just right. The process of putting together these pages was a reminder to take more photos, and pay attention to the stories. More to come, for sure!
