Making the time to sit down – sometimes only for a few minutes. Jotting down a thing (or 3) that I find in my day that I can be grateful for. The truth is, it's easy to see the not-great things. They sort of scream at you. They invite you to their pity party with snacks & wine. It's hard work, sometimes, to find the good.
I am grateful for words, images, and friends who remind me of who I want to be when I grow up. I am grateful for the knowledge that I can start being happy right now…not after/when/if.
happy (grateful) weekend…
