on the road: san francisco

Austin & I spend a few days in San Francisco last month – exploring the city and visiting California College of the Arts.

We ate a LOT of mexican food.

We took in all the sights.

Including a hike to the top of a really windy hill.

I found a dream house.

I looked for the details with my lens.

…and Austin walked the halls of CCA. Most likely not the university that he'll end up at, but we never say never during this process.

We had an amazing trip (with thanks to Amy & Missy for sharing their house, Bryan for stopping in the city to see us, and Lauren & friends for entertaining us with Cards Against Humanity). Hope and I did a CA college tour during her senior year, so it was particularly sentimental for me to take Austin on a similar (but also so different) journey. I'm so grateful that I can share my love for California with my kids…
