warrior wear | we blow kisses
Disclaimer – I know that many people take issue with the "f-word." Feel free to skip this post!
Some of you may remember seeing a link to this tee on my September You're My Favorite post. A few weeks after that post, I got an email from Kristina Nicolai-White from We Blow Kisses offering to send me a shirt. I literally squealed (which may or may not have startled the taxi driver). Yes, please.
Why do I love this t-shirt? I love it b/c it's bold. I love it b/c it's a reminder to focus. I love it b/c it gets a reaction. I have a lot of noise in my life (and so do you) – we call it stress, we label it busy, and we let it get in the way of what's really important. The message, for me, says that I can do hard things. A good friend used to say "You've got this. You're a warrior." I consider this my warrior wear.
That word, though. I wore this shirt to coffee with a friend last Sunday. She commented that she could embrace the message, but she didn't like the word. That's okay. I'm fine with it (and let's be honest, I use it regularly). But it's not the only message that We Blow Kisses offers.
We Blow Kisses says "We like to have fun and employ magical thinking. We create our art and designs with love and a bit of sass." I think that all sounds pretty great.
So much gratitude to Kristina & We Blow Kisses for their generosity & love.

I love that T. Not sure I’d get away with wearing it around here (PTA president and all….although wouldn’t that be a hoot, to wear it to my board meeting, where a few women are driving me nuts?? Hahahaha ha!) I’m just feeling so behind the times, I had no idea that’s what Kristina was doing these days. Glad I found out!

You should wear it under a sweater – then YOU know that it’s there, but you won’t risk offending anyone!
