circle journals – Katrina Holtz

A happy surprise in the mail yesterday – 2 circle journals! I don’t usually recieve 2 at the same time, so these must have gotten backed up at some point in their journey. I just love this whole idea – a group of women who don’t know each other, sharing their creativity, sharing their thoughts. Here’s how it works: Each cj group member creates a journal with a specific theme. They create an instruction page, a sign in page, and then 2-4 pgs that reflect the theme. They then send their journal to the next person on the list. That person completes 2-4 pgs that reflect the theme, and sends it on to the next person. Our group has 12 people, and we rotate journals 2x per month. At the end of the circle, I’ll recieve my journal back….it will have travelled all over the US, and will be overflowing with artistic pages. So cool.

I have yet to make a circle journal – would like to try it.

I’d also loved to see the cj when finished! PS- Glad to see your back up writng on your site – was starting to get the shakes from the withdrawl of Katrina ! LOL! You have me hooked! Thanks for all your work!
