goodbye october…
The last week of October went by in the blink of an eye – and for that, I am grateful. Halloween is not my favorite holiday. Aside from ignoring the festivities as much as possible, here's what's been going on….
Austin was inducted into the National Honor Society. The ceremony was a little cult-ish, what with all the candles and oathes, but I'm super proud of him (obviously). Also, our friend David appears to be photo-bombing us in this pic…which makes me laugh.
I rec'd my Week in the Life album from Artifact Uprising, and promptly fell in love. You can see all of the album here.
I went to 3 acupuncture appointments, and continued to feel relief. I actually had entire days of ZERO pain (including a travel day). It has been YEARS since I've been able to say that. I am so grateful. For anyone wondering about "the plan"….the acupuncturist recommends 6 treatments to see lasting relief. I'm doing those 6 as close together as I can. After that, I will likely try to go at least once per month. Although my insurance doesn't cover it, I am able to use my flex spending $…and I'd much rather use those funds for acupuncture than pain meds.

Ok – yay for acupuncture!!! And isn’t it weird how you feel like you just had a full body massage when you walk out of there ? Now I just need to get my husband to go….
