2013 PL : weeks three & four.

Let's be honest – catch up weeks are kinda a pain-in-the-a**. Add that to the fact that I can't seem to get my head around working with a kit, and I barely took any photos for these weeks…and the result is 2 weeks that were TORTURE to put together. Yes, I know that PL is supposed to be fun…but c'mon. It's also a lot of work.

W3fullWeek 3, full. Confession – I got this week done, and then changed several cards b/c I wanted red as an accent color. This entire spread took me entirely too long to complete.

W3leftW3 Left. Super simple stuff. One tribute card that I'd rather keep private. I used the gratitude app on my phone to pull the details for the card at the top.

W3rightW3 Right. Oh heeyyy kale. The card in the lower right is from CD Muckosky

W3selfiequoteI think that's a Fontwerks rub-on. I don't exactly remember – I know that it's ancient, and I have been hoarding it.

W3youarehereAdding little elements (like that arrow) might be just what I need to keep the kit elements from feeling too kit-like.

W4fullWeek 4 full. This week isn't very matchy-matchy…and that made it a wee bit easier to pull together. Still not a lot of photos to work with. Clearly I need to show my 7D some love.

W4leftW4 Left. Still loving the Indy Pimp font.

W4selfiePlaying with the timer cam app on my phone @ work…

W4rightW4 Right. A busy work week with a trip to NYC thrown in. I only had a poorly lit photo from dinner, so I changed it to b&w and paired it with the restaurant logo…and the pink pearls match nothing else color-wise, but are very VS-appropriate.

W4prettybigdealLoved the Carlton hotel – and especially loved the cheeky key folder.

Moving on to last week…after I do some laundry.

Here I go spreading the love…commenting instead of just looking, loving & leaving….
Love your pages… why does matchy matchy take so much longer, the weeks where I am more random I enjoy more than the weeks I take the time to match up everything…sometimes you get more details in with less photos, less pressure to include all the good pics & more space for the words & bits of everyday that we may not even notice but will love to see later down the track.
going to try something new for next week & have the whole layout just be about me & my routines & stuff & not just 10 pictures of my 3 daughters.
