Ten Things that I Like about Myself:

1. My eyes – green or blue, depending on what color I’m wearing

2. My sense of humor (albeit sarcastic)

3. My ability to learn quickly

4. My curly hair (yes, Mom, I really said that)

5. My creativity

6. My sense of adventure & willingness to take risks

7. My history…I like that I’ve lived an interesting life

8. My ability to debate (YES, I said it….I don’t like the term "debate geek", but I’m damn good at it)

9. My parenting style…I have great kids, and I’ll take credit for part of that 🙂

10. My comfort level with being unconventional…I don’t always follow "the rules", but that’s okay with me

    Even though I wasn’t tagged since I don’t blog, I’ll play:
    Four jobs: warehouse person; accounting assitant; administrative assistant; paralegal
    Four movies: Dial M for Murder, Rear Window, Mystic River, and yes, I have to do it, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off
    Four tv shows: Law and Order; Desperative Housewives; Grey’s Anatomy; Jeopardy
    Four vacation spots: Russia, Washington DC, Italy, and France
    Four websites: Yahoo; Katy’s blog; Fresno County Superior Court; Barnes and Noble.com
    Four favorite foods: chocolate; cheesecake; homemade pizza; anything Italian
    Four places I’d rather be: home in bed asleep; Disneyland; on time for work; bookstore

    ok here i go-
    four jobs: baker of cinnamon rolls, medical records clerk, daycare at a gym and stay at home mom!
    four movies: pretty woman, a christmas story, umm apperantely i need ot watch more movies!
    four places i’ve lived- winooski,vt, ogdensburgh,ny(don’t ask) niantic,ct, and chazy,ny
    four shows-
    desprate housewives, grey’s anatomy, lost and anything hgtv.
    four places i’ve vacationed-
    disney world, hampton beach, key west, hershey park.
    four websites-
    being thirtysomething!, two peas, weight watchers,
    favorite foods- cheescake, french fries, mom’s chicken & white gravy, creemies.
    four places i’d rather be-
    um someplace warm, target, out with the girls, and i should probably go see a movie!

    I love that you recognize that you are a great parent! That’s awesome! I also loved your comment on living an interesting life! That would make YOU an interesting person. Great answers. And an ear piercer! WOW! There’s one that I don’t think that I would ever dare do! I bet you have lots of stories on that one! Great entry! TFS!

    I like that “interesting life” fact. I don’t ever think, “wow, I’ve lived an interesting life.” I think I’ve lead a pretty normal life…a very happy,good life, with things “falling into place”, but not “interesting.” What is interesting about your life??? (I don’t mean this in any sarcastic way, I’m being serious…I want to know!!!

    Jobs~ Dairy Queen, Waitress at a pizza place, Nanny, and Osh Kosh B’gosh. Ect. Ect.
    Movies~ Steel Magnolias, Tears of Endearment, Dirty Dancing, And City of Angels.
    Shows~ ER, Survivor, American Idol, and Amazing Race.
    Vacationed~ Kennybunkport Maine, San Antonio Texas to see Family, GA to see more Family, and Were going to The Bahamas in May 06.
    I need better vacations!
    Websites~Being 30 something, Simpy me Donna D’s, Two Peas, and {A}ailedwards.
    Fav. Food~ Mexican, Carrot Cake, Buffalo Pizza and Not a food but Drink Dunkin D’s Coffee.
    Places~ Home if the house is clean! Some place nice and warm with water, With Friends(Karen)Scraping. Any place fun wiht My Family.
