So, I'll be honest – this was HARD. I went to work. I went to the gym (I was NOT taking a camera into the locker room. For the reasons that Cathy talks about here.) I came home. I made dinner. Oh, and I went to the bookstore. Normal, mundane stuff. My first Take Twelve attempt is rather, uhm, pedestrian. That being said – it's done, and it's going in my Project Life album as an insert (haven't decided what size).

WHOOT!! It looks GREAT. Your idea of pedestrian is very different from mine 🙂 I’ll be posting in the morning. Your first page is FABULOUS. And yes, Austin needs a haircut 🙂
Elizabeth
Hey, what a treat that you’re doing this!! And I am QUEEN of pedestrian. I’m all about pedestrian : )

Love the necklace. Do you find the sbux kcups that much better than green mountain? I haven’t tried them yet.
Monica
I love the the idea of inserting a collage of Take 12 photos into project life! And I think that collecting photos of the mundane is so awesome! I find that as I look back even a few months later those mundane moments become special moments. So glad you played along with Ella in the Take 12 project!

I’m so glad I was not the only one that thought this was harder than I thought it would be! BTW, your pics are anything but pedestrian–they look great. I hope it gets easier for me each month. And I love how you’re going to incorporate this collage into your PL album. I’ll be keeping that in mind if I ever commit to that project.

ok, your happy mail from Fiskars beats my happy mail from Fiskars. I won 2 punches (including the awesome “jester” border punch) and some other goodies during an online chat the other day, but you hit the jackpot! Can’t wait to see what you create with all of yours…happy punching!

doesn’t he look shaggy? oy!

ha! if you’re the queen, can I be a princess? or maybe a duchess is more age appropriate?
Katrina Simeck
the sbx cups are soooo good…in fact, i’ve had to reserve them for a “treat” b/c i was going through WAY too many of them.
Katrina Simeck
thanks Monica! I put the photo collage & list into a 6×12 template to have printed. I’m kinda digging the 6×12 size!
Katrina Simeck
You should definitely jump on the PL bandwagon – I need more people to commiserate with! ha!
Katrina Simeck
Yay for winning happy mail! I’ll admit, being on the creative team for Fiskars DOES have some awesome perks! 🙂

Crap. I meant to do this.
And, that happy looks insane.

Okay I’m starting to think your blog isn’t showing up on my Google reader anymore?? What’s up with that? I thought it just hadn’t posted the ones from today, but I never saw this one (or the foodie one?!). Crazy. Anyway, love your 12. Glad you are doing this. Glad you have entered back into the scrappy world again. Glad, in general about all you do. 😉
Katrina Simeck
i adore your ramblings. 🙂

I think it sounds like a pretty fabulous day, just the package from fiskars would be enough to make me squeal.
Katrina Simeck
oh, I certainly DID squeal! 🙂
