craving white space.
January is all about clean slates, fresh starts, new lists. I'm craving white space right now…uncluttered margins & gutters. We still have our Christmas tree up, per the request of one girl who returned to university today. I'm so ready to clean up, and create fresh new areas. We'll be prepping to go back on the market in the next few weeks, and I'm actually looking forward to the forced clutter-control. I'll be cleaning out closets (again), editing my capsule wardrobe (again), and sorting through random stacks of paperwork (always). I've already started editing my blog feed, unsubscribing from newsletters, and deleting old digi-files. White space feels good…

I always teach my preschoolers about “white space” and how it is just as beautiful and important as all the color! 🙂 Enjoy a year of white space! 🙂

I know what you mean. As much as I hate to take down the glitter and glow of December, by this time in January I crave order and clarity.
