dear 2015…i just need a minute.
Maybe it's b/c I didn't take this week off. Maybe it's b/c NYE fell on a Wednesday. Maybe it's b/c we fell asleep at 10:45 last night, completely exhausted after a single bottle of champagne. Maybe it's b/c I'm feeling like the days are too short, the dishwasher is always full, and there are never any clean towels. Maybe it's b/c I'm disappointed by things that are beyond my control, and disappointed that kindness & grace aren't widely practiced. Maybe it's b/c I'm running out of chocolate.
Whatever the reason, I just need to put the New Year on pause for just a minute. I'm the girl who loves a new beginning. The one who has learned to extend the holidays through the beginning of January in order to celebrate all things birthday. I've got planners to write in, vision boards to create, Project Life albums to start, and goals to draft. And…I'm just not ready yet. So. I'm going to take a minute. I'm going to reset. I'm going to sit…and breathe. I'm going to give myself the space to begin again…no matter what date shows on the calendar. Dear 2015…I'll be with you shortly.

yes. This. I am there with you. I’m still enjoying the holidays with my guys and slowly working on things like my word for the year and my planners. I felt very hesitant to just jump in and have everything set to go on January 1st, and I am going with that feeling and really experiencing the process.

I have two Filofax binders and I use the DIYFish inserts, which are printables I buy from Etsy. They totally changed the way I organised my time and work. One binder is my go-to with my calendar, weekly tasks, and daily to-dos. The other is where I do my blog planing, document all my ideas, keep notes from online classes etc. I’ve seen such an improvement in my organization since using them!
