2 cool things….

Two cool things happened yesterday & made me smile….

1. I got an email from Doe Doe. My friend. A good friend, an old friend, a friend that I had lost touch with. We are soooo out of touch that I didn’t even know that she had another new baby. His name is Zach, and he’s absolutely beautiful! Doe Doe (Paula to anyone else!) and I go waaaayyyyy back – we’ve been friends through marriage, moves, pregnancy, divorce, new lives – real stuff. She’s just that: a real friend. And I’m so glad to have her back. LOVE YOU Doe Doe!

2. On a much more superficial level, my other cool thing – as my new boss was chatting with me by my cubicle, she noticed my altered project planner. She said "wow, that is sooo cool – is that their (the customer) design?" I said no, that I had made it. She said "you designed that? Will you make one for me???" Did you hear that? DESIGNED. Now, really, I don’t consider myself anything even close to a designer. I’m just a scrapbooker. But geez, that was nice to hear!

So….cool things. Good vibes. Happy days.
