2.14.14. friday reflections.
A snowy friday for reflection…
tasting :: my favorite sweet potato tacos (that I even convinced Robert to eat!). soy lattes. the most delicious almond butter EVER. yummy beets. a delicious vegan dinner in the city.
hearing :: podcasts (I've kinda been on a kick). the sounds of NYC. an airplane full of passengers singing Happy Birthday to little Mackenna, who was turning 5…and then her little voice saying "Is there cake??" (so cute).
smelling :: vanilla incense. coffee. flowerly shower gel. shea cashmere hand lotion.
seeing :: snow. a lot of snow. a messy office. a broken blender (oops).
feeling :: tired, but an I worked hard tired. frustrated by the lack of strength in my hip. relieved. grateful for my friends.
wishing/hoping :: for a way to make this retreat a reality. that winter was over. that Target has the curtains that I want in stock when I head to NY this weekend.
Inspired by my dear friend Gabby today, who was inspired by Rosie Molinary…
Rosie explains that Friday Reflections is "all about reflecting on the week by observing our senses. My hope is that this will be a gentle, easy way to tune into how we are doing and what we are experiencing weekly when journaling in general can feel so daunting."

What podcasts are you listening to? I am always curious about what people like – I find I drift in and out of the podcast scene. 🙂

Mmmm…I suspect that we’re in totally different podcast camps. Mine is a lot of Gabrielle Bernstein, Marianne Williamson, and a show called “where is my guru?”…
