spring break 2018 (part two)

As I said before, our spring break was action packed! We chose to stay home for this break b/c we already have travel scheduled next month for my brother’s wedding. So, we packed in a LOT of our favorite things…

We took Flat Barb to dinner at Tiny Thai (and texted pics to her). We eat out with the Littles quite often. It not only stretches their food experiences, but also teaches them a lot about being kind to waitstaff, being patient while waiting for food, and having good table manners.

We had Super Hero protection (thanks Zeda!) so that the bad guys stayed away.

And then there was a motorized car rally with neighborhood friends.

Bubbe flew in & out of Plattsurgh, so we had several windy Ferry rides to pick her up & drop her off.

Our weeks with these kiddos go by way too fast, and aren’t a substitute for the regular family time that we all deserve. It’s heartbreaking to see them go, especially when they are so utterly happy with us.

So, we don’t say goodbye..we just say “see you soon!!”
