An early day

It’s 6:00am. I’m showered, dressed, & ready to go to work. All this with only 2 cups of coffee. I am not a morning person, but this is worth it. I have a morning full of meetings, and then……

I didn’t realize how burned out I was until yesterday. I really need this break. I’ve gone from huge project to huge project in the past 6 months, and the pace is taking it’s toll. Not using this as an excuse, but that’s a lot of the reason that I have been eating like crap, not exercising, and not sleeping. This vacation with be renewing.

I am so excited that my parents are getting here today. Thank goodness for meetings this morning, because otherwise I’d be looking at the clock every few seconds. I think they’ll be happy with our life. It’s a bit messy, a bit chaotic, but it’s all about the love….and most of the time it’s pretty damn fun.

More good news – my film SLR is repaired! I got the call yesterday. I’ll have to run by and pick it up tomorrow. Of course, that means that my whole "gotta get a digital b/c I won’t have a good camera when Mom & Dad are here" reasoning is shot….but who cares. I will use the heck out of both of them. AND, this means that Dad can give me some pointers on using my SLR in manual.
