2018 Project Life : January, weeks 1-3
I’ve been working on Project Life a little here & there – making progress, and remembering how much I love this project. The first week of January was a whirlwind of Littles & (one) Big, New Year’s & (my) birthday celebrations, and then…Mexico!!
I picked a few fave photos from our week in Mexico. I plan to do a Chatbook with all of the photos, so I focused on highlights here.
I found these morning, afternoon, evening digital journaling cards in my collection, printed onto cardstock, and cut out to use as embellishments. It’s been soooo long since I bought scrapbooking supplies that I’m having to get creative about what I’m using!
Since we got “stuck” in Mexico for a couple of extra days, this vacation ended up to be longer than expected – yay for filling an entire Project Life spread!
Week three was a bit of a challenge b/c I had exactly 5 photos from the week. Yep, five. Solution? I printed 2 at 6×8 and cut them up for the pockets. Done & done.
Reminding myself to tell stories (instead of just showing them through photos). It doesn’t take a lot of writing!
Also found this card in my digital files – super helpful to 1) fill a space and 2) jot down some details from the week.
Not sure why the photos are showing up wonky…will attempt to fix!

So happy to see you doing (and sharing) your Pl pages again. I have always loved your style and have saved a lot of your ideas to copy. Hope to see more as you get them done!

1-3 done, result. Love that you have gone back to PL, happy that you are sharing, I have yet to start this year, lack of photos putting me off 😫

Thanks Louise! In addition to enlarging photos, I also grab photos off the web (like the movie poster & the Alexa ad), and simply fill in with pretty papers!!

I also have weeks where not enough photos are taken and I have grabbed from the web but never thought about printing larger and cutting to fit. Thanks for showing that off! Now I can actually finish week one…in which I had exactly TWO photos taken.
